SO WHAT CAMERA/SCANNER DO YOU USE FOR THOSE AWESOME COIN PICTURES?

I've been using my HP scanner and it takes scans of the whole slab. When I go to crop it, it looks all off color. What are you guys doing to take those great macro pictures?

<< <i>How are you getting those pictures to look like that with the Ricoh? You know, the black background. >>
It's black cloth.
<< <i>Is that a scanner or a camera? >>
It's a camera.
<< <i>Are you using any special software? >>
No special software. Just cropped, resized and merged. Sometimes a little brightness adjust if the image is too dark.

Thanks...yes it is one of the finest of the date I have seen. Great luster and one heckuva strike....fully split thumb, stem and visible knuckle to her index finger as well.
Here's an early Type coin.....harder to image for sure.
