Yeah, there's a couple of us! Frattlaw is working on a complete set, and has made remarkable progress over the last year. Several other board members have been known to acquire one or two. Hopefully, they'll share some pics.

Did I hear someone ask if there's any toned Peace fans here, well not really a fan, more like an obsession.

As Strat indicated I'm working on a complete set -- not an easy task. I already started on sets 2 and 3 based on duplicates, but I still need 7 to complete the first. These are not at all easy to find. Especially, nicely toned.

I really like the 2 you have posted, but it's hard to tell the grade from the scans. Does the 1923-D--2 have some rub? It looks like an AU coin. As for the other, that seems like a nice MS coin. As always, once you are tired of these two or any others you might run across, please let me know I'll pay strong money for them. And they will always stay with me. I'm dedicated to making toned Peaces my little slice of numismatics.

One of these days I'm going to get a nice camera, take a bunch of pics and start a toned Peace website. Just gotta find the time.

    I have a 1925 MS65 that is incredible.

    Thanks for sharing Bern!

This was a raw coin I found at a local dealership here in Louisville - wound up in an NGC64 holder image

  • Frattlaw, both of those are graded ms63. Here are a couple more to look at.

So much for grading from scans. I knew the one on the right was MS, though. Both are very nice. I have a 23-D NGC MS63 with spectacular colors, but the coin is a little dark for my taste. My coin has to be turned a little to catch the color differences, but it has reds, oranges, greens just hiding on the surface of it. But I really like the one on the right in your pic. Let me know if you are willing to part with it.

I'd like to add it to my #1 collection.

    Thanks

  • My newest Peace from today. The green look on the obv is the lighting. The coin is silver with a touch of color on the front.
