Would love your opinion of these toned Jeffersons

I have been having a duzy of a time photoing tone proof Jeff's, I think I am getting better...what do you think?

I think your images are great. I also really like the coins. I have been trying to capture pictures of my graded Jefferson proofs also but so far I have have gotten are all failed attempts. I cannot capture the likeness of the proof coins at all. Can you give me a few tips since you are taking good pictures of your Jeffersons?

Trial and error mostly. I use my copy stand with the camera pointing down at a slight angle with the coin flat...I have three normal lights pointing at the coin, two from the bottom and 45 degree angle the one from the top straight on. That is basically all I have for you, other than that it is just trial and error on the angles and adjusting brightness on the software.

Not sure what that's supposed to mean either. You want to take what I wrote in a negative way with your mean face icon, that's up to you and I'm not going to get in a big debate over it. I like the look of that '61; from the photo, it looks like it has nice clear
mirrors with splashes of cool colors!

They look good. For some reason, the reverses look not as good as the obverse..........Ken

I was thinking the same thing, I think it is because there is less device on the reverse, and that is where you see the color the most. I have noticed the color on the fields just doesn't show on a picture.

It supposed to mean that if you have an opinion, that you think I can benefit from, I would like to hear it straight out, not in some coded humor crap message like the one you posted.

I mentioned if you wanted to get into it with me (which I don't care to do) to please take it to PM. I have no beef with you but you seem to want to say my comments are "crap." OK, I will be honest with you, but this is not what I was getting at in my post. I do not use "coded messages, I'm always straight up with my posts.

IMO..... you use this board to spam your wares.
IMO......you use your subtle ways of spamming, like how do you like my pics.
IMO......people have called you on your spamming this board before.

I say this because everytime (including this time, after one of these posts, you JUST happen to have listed the coins on eBay.

I say this because I've seen you as a dealer come on here asking "are these coins valuable" and "how much do you think they are worth?

I've also seen other dealers do this and IMO it's you're business and you are just asking to draw attention, as it Just happened to be listed on eBay right after or before your question.

These are just a few things that I really didn't want to have to express in public. I have been as nice as I can even though you want to call everything I say as "crap"

So in all reality, all of the above things I've mentioned that IMO you do, are a bunch of as in your words "CRAP"

Now why don't you go take some Midol and back off me. BTW, you said if I had something to say that would benifit you, to not do it in coded messages. I hope something I've said, that you did indeed benifit from.

Edit to add.... I will not comment on this matter anymore, I need to go run my business, and will not waste anymore time with you on this. And it's not fair to the board to keep this going. Not what I and many come here to do. So if it pleases you..... flame the heck out of me, for something that never should have went this far. Good luck to you

I just had to jump in here...and I would have PM'd you, but for some reason that feature isn't working from the computer I'm using. And besides, it seem that this is as deserving of public eyes as your posts within this thread have been.

There's nothing wrong with mnmcoin posting all the pics he wants to here, REGARDLESS of whether he also simultaneously offers those same coins for sale elsewhere....how is this spam? Who died and left you in charge? I for one like seeing those pics posted here....this is a COIN forum, remember? Much more interesting to see his nice coins than to read an insipid, highly defensive post from you (regardless of who got a bit defensive first).

I don't think that mnmcoin is going about some evil plan to convince anyone that they should buy from him. Relax! You can bet that when the next day comes that I'm selling some coins, I will be posting them all over these boards. And you won't have to buy those, either.

Oh yeah, I don't mind it if someone throws on "monster" or "PQ" sticker on their slabs, either...sheeesh, you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to. No need to get all wounded and righteous about it.
