Raw? I wonder what PCGS would grade it?

  • First of all... if it's an MS70, I'm.... well.... I'm really Lucy in disguise.

And, if I were artyerk, I wouldn't be too happy about dennis0049 (a zero feedback bidder) jacking the bid up 15 times without getting high bid. Can you say, "shill"? Hmmmm.....

I assume it is 70 out of 100. He uses his own scale, just like ACG.

Probably PCGS would grade it MS63, or bag it.

Note the seller says "this coin is in MS-70".

Maybe he means the coin was sitting in ms70 at the time he listed it??? image

MS70 is that what it was dipped in?
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Isn't MS70 some kind of coin cleaner? I do not clean coins, so I do not know the names of them other than nick-a-date or what ever it is called. Oh and jewel luster, only because people here talk about it.

Notice that the Dennis bidder happens to bid a few minutes after the high bidder each time he has bid. Shame shame shame....
  • I actually though maybe he was an ACG grader selling on eBay. It definately looks as though it was in MS70, Jewel luster or something of that sort.image

He even has an MS65FBL Franklin Half Cent listed at the bargain price of $100.

That's a steal since, according to him, it's worth $400.

He should use the proceeds to buy a new keyboard, since his appears to be broken.

  • If he continues this type of selling. I believe his 100% positive F/B rating will be in serious trouble.image

Wow, this guy must really know his coins, because "HE" says it's worth $400.00, man I'm gonna start sending him all my coins to be graded.image
  • <<the diagonal bandsreach around the axe.both bands are very visible.remember this coin is in MS-70>>

I like this he says both bands are visible which is probably true, but what about the third band?image

Been grading 7 years, sure I'll buy that for a dollar. image

Pennies make dollars, and dollars make slabs!

....inflation must be kicking in again this dollar says spend by Dec. 31 2004!

  • The funniest part is the high bidder has ZERO feedback!!!!

This is too funny. He's so confident in the grade that he didn't even provide a scan of the reverse.
What a sham., but great entertainment, thanks.

Hmmmm, I should be able to sell my UNC 1942 mercs for $3,300.00 per roll, think this guy would buy mine for $2,000.00 per roll?
    Maybe I'll ask.

Grading for 7 years. Hmmm... must have wore out his old loupe because he just bought a new one. Also will the other 9 Mercs he got in a deal turn out MS70 also. Hey if any of you buy Diamonds keep your eyes peeled because he buys these also. Oh Yea 24K Gold coins too.

All his feedback has been as a buyer, until now. Also, it seems that dennis0049 only bids on his auctions AND has had his bids cancelled by the seller twice before for zero feedback . It does seem odd...
