Too soon for me to be a buyer, I have dimes going in for grading every day...... And I'm not sure what to make of prices..... I may regret passing on some and yet be thankful I passed on others.... Its to early in the game....

I think they're trying to see how much they can mark up a $60 coin and get away with it. Wonder what they were charging before they spent the $10 bucks to get the designation. how they arrived at the price and the pre FT price would be extremely interesting.
PCGS sets under The Thomas Collections. Modern Commemoratives @ NGC under "One Coin at a Time". USMC Active 1966 thru 1970" The real War.
Thanks for the free advertising. Yes they are ours. It is interesting that we got back our Full torches in one week - great job NGC. We still have not heard about the ones we sent to PCGS.
Anyways - The value of these we believe is double a straight MS67 and the more difficult dates three to one. The 1952-P, we believe, is a more difficult date.
Here are the first results from the PCGS Pop report:
There are at one of the following in MS67 (11 dates): 46-P,46-D, 47-D, 48-S, 49-D, 50-D, 51-D, 51-S, 58-D, 59-D, 61-D
$150 might just turn out to be a bargain. I think the 52P will be one of the tougher dates to find in full bands or full torch. I have not seen a 52P full band yet. If the coin had color I would be all over it at that price.
LucyBop - True - We feel it will take six months to a year to sort out the hard dates from the common dates. But someone has to start to see where the market is.
i don't collect roosevelts, so it will be interesting to watch how the pricing and pops all work out. todd, it sounds like you have a well-thought plan to start out. have you considered listing one of the moderately hard dates in MS66FB with a $1 start no reserve to see where the open market puts it??
Keets - We will when the MS66 come back. We got back 18 different dates in MS67 - The two up on ebay are duplicates. We have about 60 at NGC right now and are waiting for them to come back.
One of the problems with starting at $1.00 is what if there is no interest and the auction ends at $10.00. I think they are worth more than that.
"Just a little rim toning"......come on Nick, if the torch is getting heated up, and we're taking it to a Full Torch coin, doesn't it deserve to get the Full (blow) Torch treatment - LOTSA of Color please!!!!!!!!! <grin>
If Nick doesn't like lotsa color, I do!
Craig If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
Looking at pop reports, there are more Roosevelts graded from 46-64! The tough part would be to see clads coming in at FT. Pop reports are extremely low and there may not be an abundance of those coins through the late 60's into the late 70's. That's where it has been difficult to even find one in just a high MS grade. Time will tell and those old rolls may soon be opening!
My 1950 S over D in MS 66 is a full torch!! What should I do with it? Resubmit for a FT and triple my money?

46-S and 50-D
