What very rare famous U.S. gold coin was given the nickname "The Little Princess" ??

Also, how about those 'Binion' pedigrees on crossovers?

Dragon, you're going to have to make them harder than that. The 1841 proof $2&1/2 has been called "The Little Princess" for a long time. While it's certainly not rarer than other proofs of the era, it was a proof only issue. In the "old days," collectors did not separate proofs and circulation strikes. Many collectors, such as Louis Eliasberg, routinely had circulation strikes for the branch mints and proofs for the Philadelphia mints in their collections. The proof only issues, such as the 1895 Morgan, 1877 and 1878 5 cents and 3 cents, 1887 $5, etc. had added value as being the only possible way to get an example from that date/mint combination. Hence the important of the 1841 $2&1/2. Interestingly, the 1841 $2&1/2 was the last gold coin Louis Eliasberg purchased for his "complete" collection. The very last coin he purchased was the 1873-CC no arrows dime...David
