simply outstanding. in my experience, isabella quarters are among the most abused coins. there are countless cleaned & whizzed coins out there that might otherwise have been great low-end uncs.

also true of lafayette dollars, again in my experience. don't know why those 2 issues are just about always cleaned

Yep Rose...some nice rose tones in there amongst the steel blue and plum.

dorkkarl...you're absolutely correct. I think that the Isabella and Lafayette are the two most abused commems in the series. I would never buy either one raw without having a guarantee that it wouldn't be body-bagged.

I usually don't have much interest in commems, but that coin looks really nice.
Has a look of nobility(and purple is a noble color in my country)

Bob you finally pulled the trigger on that coin. That is the one he had back in March that you and I looked at right. nice coin and if that is the same coin the picture does not do the coin justice for what it realy looks like. The colors are super and the coin is very high end for the grade. In case you do not know just about any coin you buy from Bill Jones will be on the the high end for the grade. He sells really nice clean no problem coins.
