I posted this because i thought it was interesting. Yes i do like hockey more than basketball. So what? And... this board... the majority of the people collect basketball... big deal. I mearly pointed out... that on the poll... NHL was voted more exciting. Thats all. Then it got to people making excuses why NHL was voted more exciting. LOL - Always been that way here as we all know. On SCS for instance, it's more hockey oriented that basketball in my opinion. Just depends on the site.

WOW, this post sure has taken a wild turn in a direction I don't even want to go into.LOL One thing I did want to clarify tho; prior to my disability I got while serving in the US Navy making the 1st Marine landings in Vietnam on March 8th, 1965 I was a pretty decent football & basketball player both on base teams & in high school for a couple years. So, joebenson before you ramble on with your senseless fiction, please get your FACTS straight. I will admit since my latest disability on top of my service disability, it has slowed me somewhat & I can't play sports like I used to, but then how many 60 year old men can.LOL My dislike for the NBA is from the standpoint of the inane rule changes made over the years to where it is no more than a shadow of a once great game. That, coupled with the fact that NO team will beat the Lakers just make it one of the most boring sports to watch. So, go ahead & watch all those NBA games knowing the Lakers are going to win the championship.BORING! We, on the other hand will be watching with anticipation to see which NHL teams advance to the next round knowing there will be a NEW champion this year. Now that is exciting sport; to watch & see which team has the best of the best to make it all the way to the zenith of thier sport. Later dudes!
