Is the dime CAMEO? (would the quarter make DCAM?)

I'm trying to learn how to tell what a cam looks like thru the mint packaging, do you think it would go cam if sent it?

i say no, it doesn't seem frosty enough in the devices.

(when mmbikker first put this post up it was a 63 mint set)

Looks like a decent shot, the trick is the reverse. Ask for the reverse of the set pic, and if it is the same, it is worth a shot. Specially since the quarter looks like a shot.

Sometimes the cameo is good on the obverse but not on the reverse, if its not good on the reverse the most you can probably get is Cam---------BigE

Most of the coins in that last set appear CAM. DCAM, probably no.

I'm refering to the obverse only, since you didn't provide a picture of the reverse. The dime will make Cameo, though it wouldn't bring the price of the slab. The quarter is a DCAM. It is a push at PR-68 and a profitable coin in PR-69 DCAM.

The light plays tricks as well - Penny and nickel could go CAM

You need to realize you need BOTH obverse and reverse to get designation - the quarter looks DCAM obverse but if nothing on reverse than NO designation of any kind except PR68

    The dime obverse looks CAM
