Put a hole in the middle and it's ready for mounting on a Dremel.

It has the shape of a clock escapement, just not good enough to work, so wasn't finished.
Need something designed and 3D printed?

i've seen such large-cents before, like where they have had "teeth" carved into the edges. i've also seen 1 that really was used as a gear in a mechanical contraption of some sort

66Tbird might be right. Looks like it was widdled out to be a gear. It`s a neat looking novelty to have at least.
