1923 D Peace Dollar...what grade?

Just wondering if some pros could give me their opinion on this coin. I was wondering if it was worth the fee to submit it?

First time to ever submit a coin to anyone. Thinking of PCGS, ANACS, or NGC

    I would not submit the coin. It has some obverse marks and there is a strong probability that the coin was cleaned.

    Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

    Welcome to the forum. I wish I had better news... I wouldn't submit it. Fingerprints, marks, and possibly cleaned. Photo-grading is problematic but assuming the best of all scenarios, not higher than 61/62.

    Don't be discouraged, though. We've all been through the same thing. I had a submission of 12 morgans I bought as raw uncirculated that came back as 2 body bags, 8 AU-55s and 2 AU-58s. Or something like that. I really learned a lot about grading after that!
