Toning Statehood Quarters AT or Natural?????????

I have a Dansco Album for ST QTR's with P & D mints. I just added my AL to the album and noticed that 50% of the coins are developing a nice golden hue to them. These are BU coinds and have been handled with gloves only. I have my ASE's in the same location but they show no toning yet. The common denominator with the quarters are the album and the supplier. I buy 2 BU sets every release. Any one have any ideas on this? Does the constitute AT even if I did not do anything to promote the toning?
Thanks

even then, simply fixating your eyeballs on the coin constitutes AT.

The golden color is typical of coins that tone in Dansco Albums, including the ones manufactured today. I have seen several coins tone with a light golden hue in my SAE album and State Quarter album, which are both Dansco's purchased within the last couple years. I do not view this as being artificial toning, as there was no intent to deceive anyone, nor did I expect the coins to tone. It doesn't sound like you expected this either, so I would say the toning your coins have acquired are as natural as any other coin that has toned in its holder. Infact, your clad coins may start acquiring a blue and lemon yellow coloration over time that is pleasing to the eye. Another board member has a collection of Kennedy Halves that have acquired this type of color from a Dansco Album, and several of the coins are very attractive from a color perspective. My silver Eagles seem to be acquiring a light orange color, mostly on the rims, and I have seen other that had olive color, presumably from being stored in Dansco Albums.
