Russ, you just made my point that I was trying to make in Doug Wright's other thread about Deb's estate coins. Am I the only one who can see the difference between the guy that Russ found on ebay and Deb's coins?
BTW, Russ, I just hit 800 posts. Thanks for commenting in my self-promoting thread.
it reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Lisa's trying to figure out who shot Mr. Burns when Marge tells Lisa "why don't you solve the mystery of who put that mud in the freezer".
Bart comes walking out of the kitchen with two bowls and says "who wants chocolate ice cream?" and Homer, who's been sitting there all along, says "me me me me!"
when it says that their feedback is "private" isn't that a huge billboard with bright red letters that says "you're gonna get screwed"?.
It's beyond mw how someone can hide his feedback. I thought this was the backbone of decency at Ebay. I don't buy from sellers who hide the bidders names, now I won't buy from dealers who hide their feedback. Glenn
this is the problem.....people like this seller........this is what ebay is becoming.......and thier numbers are growing.........its like trying to cross the street without getting run over..............however i must say there are some very good people on ebay........stick with them...........and stay away from these people...........last night i was just looking thru ebay.i came across this one seller, now i cant remember who it was...........they had 1400 sales.... out of them he had......62 neturals , and 142 negs.,.... what a mess..........
Russ, he did have some Kennedy halves!! It seems the more you search, especially key dates and types, these guys are popping up all over the place! It's like the kid out of Fla. selling gold coins and never delivering them. Will they ever have a safe haven on eBay! They should make them post a cash bond before they can sell and return it after six months if they have no negs! I guess we all have to watch our backs and guaranty on sales!

DorkKarl, I hope you are joking. Read my posts in the other Jade thread about reckless comments. Jade Coin, Inc. has perfect feedback and, from what I can tell, very, very good deals. Take a look at the link that Jade had in their most recent thread:
Have you ever seen such honest listings in your life???? And that Fugio....that was too cheap! I bet they are not happy about that.
DorkHead, you seem like a smart guy (most of the time). I would suggest that you think before you make negative comments about people with no real justification or reasons. Do you have any reason to bash a dealer like Jade? You may find yourself on the wrong side of a lawsuit, right along with DMWJR.
What are we going to do when we scare off all of the coin dealers on this forum? Bash each other???
The name is Ed..........NumisEd to you. What do you mean by "too easy". If you are referring to the old days when I used to take home any girl from the bar.......well, let's just say that I quit drinking!
NumisEd, I looked at the four coins on that Jadecoin page. Of course they were going to call the coins losers. They are all four losers. They actually sold them for more than they are worth.
An example of his scam sales is this one -> eBay 3018596859 (too tired to link it)
I asked the seller a question ->
I am confused - what does high bidder get? All the coins pictured or one from each pile?
The first reply was FAST but an autoresponder thanking me for my feedback - it told how to put attention to Coin Mover to get question answered.
His reply ->
Everything listed. Todd
Thanks alot Todd, so I get 6 coins for $140????
I also asked homerunhall about use of logo last Tuesday night and gave him the item number above, My question was for him to ask their legal counsel whether Their logo can be displayed in auctions such as this or if they have to be authorized PCGS dealers, I also asked about the copied coin mover logo that looks awfully like PCGS's. I hope he got it before he left so tomorrow we can have more interesting stories about coin mover !!!

Doug, once again you are babbling like a fool. The point is not if the coins are nice or losers, the point is that YOU stated that Jade Coin sells damaged coins and does not indicated that the coins are damaged. In EVERY listing in the past several months, according to their feedback links, they tell every possible problem, even if the problem would not be picked-up by newbie collectors.
In one case, about a week or two ago, before your libelous pursuit of Jade Coin, Inc, they listed some coins on ebay. One of the 4 coins was an ANACS certified bust half that ANACS called a "PROBLEM FREE F-12", yet Jade said that, in their opinion, the coin was only a VG and had been cleaned.
Now, Doug, do you see why I call you a FOOL? Why don't you target your baseless rampages against a person or company that deserves it? Better yet, why don't you crawl back in your hole and scrub up some more 44-D wheaties for your collection?
Doug, now you are changing the subject and trying to divert attention to your previous posts. You claimed that Jade Coin doctors coins and does not disclose that information. If you go to their feedback, you can see that they found problems with every coin that they have listed on ebay. Again, what are you babbling about?
1/2 pound of coins! What a deal! I just put some coins on my postal scale: 1/2 lb is about 4 PCGS slabbed coins (the ones I weighed were 3 quarters and a modern $1 Silver commem). And then, in the raw world, it took a grand total of 10 Ike's to fill out 1/2 pound. His description is just alittle misleading!!
Endocrinologist might know a better way but here's one way to do it.
Look up the auction and note the ID of the buyer.
Then Use this link to see all feedback one person has left for others, using the buyer's ID. If the buyer is very active, set the number of feedbacks per page to 100 or 200. The most recent feedbacks left are shown first. You can use the search feature in your browser to search for the seller's ID on the page and see if the buyer left feedback for the seller (even though the seller's feedback is marked private).
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
Yeah......but do you still take home "any" girl from the bar?
<< <i>The name is Ed..........NumisEd to you. What do you mean by "too easy". If you are referring to the old days when I used to take home any girl from the bar.......well, let's just say that I quit drinking! >>
The Ex-"Crown Jewel" of my collection! 1915 PF68 (NGC) Barber Half "Eliasberg".
Once again resides with Legend, the original purchaser "raw" at live Eliasberg auction. Laura and i "love" the same lady!
K S, The best way to find private feedback is to search the seller's completed auctions. Then you click on each individual buyer to see what feedback they have left for others. You will find the feedback that has been left for the seller in question. Slightly time comsuming, but you can pretty much find all of the feedback comments.

I thought the eBay ad said that you could check the feedback so you know you won't get hosed.
This flies in the face of eBay's assertions.
