Remember the bag of coins at my aunts house.

Well there was a bag of Kennedy halves ($50 in 1964s and $50 in 40% silvers). Most of them were really bad looked like this...

But there were some that toned OK.

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    In canvas bags, on a shelf under a leaky window. For 30 years!!! I'm going to see if the crud will dip off, but in some spots it's thick!

    Sorry, I wish!! There were (I say were) sone nice looking Kennedys there, and now they are not worth crap! I wouldn't do that to coins!!!image

    There was no attenpt at ATing coins here. But damn I wish they were stashed in a closet! There was some nice looking 64s-69s Kennedy Halves here!!! Was, being the catch word, not they go into the scrap silver pile!

    The Ex-"Crown Jewel" of my collection! 1915 PF68 (NGC) Barber Half "Eliasberg".

    Once again resides with Legend, the original purchaser "raw" at live Eliasberg auction. Laura and i "love" the same lady!
