No. The P-mint has both a narrow and wide rim. Buy a small item with a $20 bill at a stamp machine, and you'll probably get examples of both in change.
The narrow rim variety can be found on all 1979 SBAs. The wide rim variety is on the 1979-P SBAs as well as the 1980 and 1981 SBAs. Thus, the only one with both varieties is the 1979-P. The 1979-P wide rim is much rarer than its narrow rim cousin and is rarely found in change, etc.
Not am mine either! You get 16 37 cent stamps and NO change for your twenty dollars. (Machine doesn't give change and only sells the one amount of stamps. You use exact change or you lose any overage.)
