1856 S1 - the first 1856 FE cent ever made??

Purchased this FE cent recently from Rick Snow at EERC. It has a fascinating reverse with the ONE CENT tilted with respect to the wreath. The vertical axis (as defined by centering dots on other issues) passes midway between the corn tassles at the top of the wreath and through the bottom of the crease in the bottom ribbon. On the other 3 master dies, the words are virtually 90 degrees to the vertical - check out the orientation of the words on the S1
No wonder it was rejected! Die states suggest it was the 1st 1856 FE cent made.
Currently there are 4 CN S1's known, this the second finest (PCGS AU58). Wierd, eh?? The correct orientation shown is from the S3 variety.

Puns are great, aren't they
The lines really do emphasize the orientation! Even crooked, the centering is correct, the epper left serif of the N in CENT right where it should be.
