I have bought a couple of coins from this seller. Most, if not all of his auctions have really late and high bidding. I think we sometimes have to give people the benefit of the doubt. Just because we, or someone we know did not get what they wanted, does not mean that the seller did something wrong. Does anyone here really know why he cancelled the auction? If not, then maybe you should not be pointing fingers. After all, Life Happens!!!!!!!!!!...My opinion....Ken

I'd also note that this doesn't look like one of those last second cancellations. If I'm reading the timestamps correctly, it looks like it was closed five hours early.

I am sorry that it had to happen too. The auction listing could not be found under a search for PCGS (the most popular search). I had run PCGS and the grade together in the title of the listing. So it could not be found.
That was a disadvantage for me an may happen cost me a lot. Which I can not afford to do not having a job an all.

The auction stated "PCGSPR69DCAM" so it would not show on any decent search. I agree, a mistake, and its fair for him to end it early.

title and description search would have got it - but so much crap with all the dealers putting in keyword spam - like we try to sell PCGS, NGC, ICG, ANACS certified coins. BFD.

I see only an honest mistake and a fair way to rectify it by the seller. The seller realized that the error was keeping it from getting found in searches. The seller faced a serious loss over a typo.

I'm a huge complainer about sellers ending auctions early. I get so tired of the "I no longer have the coin and I can do what I darn well please argument." That's why Ebay needs to list seller's bid cancellations along with buyers' bid retractions.

However, this seller's excuse seems reasonable to me. If I had been looking for that coin, it would have been skipped in my search vs. without the PCGS run in.

And, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt when it comes to honesty.

I don't have a job either, what does that have to do with anything?.........I just find it pretty odd that it took 9 days and 19 hours to notice that you had "worded it wrong". I doubt it means anything to you, but I won't be bidding on any of your auctions in the future. If you want a pre-determined amount for something, use a reserve. ......GaCoinGuy...You say you don't have a job either. Well, you whining little snip, a lot of other people are in the same boat. That does not give you the right to act like a fool. Everyone else on this thread seems to think that this was an honest mistake.
