PCGS Regrades--I was wrong!!

I just got my grades back from PCGS on the regrades I sent. Here are the results:

Louisiana Purchase Exp 1903 Gold Dollar-McKinley MS63 to MS64
McKinley Memorial 1917 Gold Dollar MS64 - MS64
Sesquicentennial Quarter Eagle 1926 MS63 to MS64

I managed to upgrade two out of three. When I sent these in I picked the wrong coin for regrade (McKinley Memorial). I should of sent in the 1903 Jefferson. I will have to do that next time. Really happy with the results.

Anyone else have results to post on regrades or crossovers?


PS. I recieved my coins today and I noticed that instead of submitting the McKinley Memorial 1917 dollar, I had submitted a 1915-S Panama Pacific Gold Dollar. In short, the coin also upgraded from MS63 to MS64 making it a 3 for 3 sweep in upgrades. I have a few more coins that I may try to get upgraded while my luck is good.

The coins are part of the 11 piece gold commemoritive set pedigreed as the Overland Trail Collection. I still am looking for a nice Grant no star dollar. I wish I would have purchased one a few years ago when an MS 65 coin was about $2000. Now it will cost me a bit more. I am not ready to sell them as yet
