How do you safely remove the haze that forms on modern commeratives, including milk spots?

I've used MS70 for haze. rinse like crazy with distilled water. But, some others are probably much more knowledgeable than I, so ....
Milkspots, I have never heard of a way to remove them.

The best thing I've ever used to remove haze on proofs is cheap, lemon-scented household "sudsy" cleaning ammonia that you can get buy about anywhere.

I usually dilute it 50:50 with distilled water, and rinse thoroughly with cold running water. Works great on silver and nickel, and removes minor/faint milk spots. I have been told, however, that it is NOT wise to use on copper. (Frankly, I've never had the guts to try it and see what happens.)

WARNING: Use only in a well ventilated area... ammonia fumes are dangerous.
    When in doubt, don't.

I like the drill and grinding wheel method, but I doubt that PCGS will approve.
