What do you think of the pic quality? I'm having a tough time with this kind of coin. I can't seem to get away from reflections appearing on the coin...Ken
Actually Ken - get back from it and set your camera to the highest definition that you can. You'll want to throw as much light as you can on it without getting too much reflection, and then you'll have to lighten the image up with some editing software (I use paintshop pro 6) until you get the right look to it.
I've cut a hole in a piece of black construction paper. I tape this over my camera with the lens in the hole. It helps reduce some reflections, sometimes my camera was being reflected.
I really like your images. The reflections are OK to me and show how mirror like the fields are on that Ike.
