Grading Morgans - The Top 3.

I'm just curious about other people's experiences with having Morgans graded by the top 3 (PCGS, NGC, ANACS). Who grades the toughest? The easiest? Who would you want to grade your DMPL's? Which company brings the highest premiums (I think I know this one). Thanks.

I've had great transactions with people like: drwstr123, CCC2010, AlanLastufka, Type2, Justlooking, zas107, StrikeOutXXX, 10point, 66Tbird, and many more!

PCGS is the all-around best with Morgans.
PCGS is hands-down the best with circulated grades, PLs and DMPLs.
NGC is more conservative with CC dates (PCGS allows more marks and scuffs).
NGC allows too many die polishing lines and too much field frost on PLs and DMPLs
ANACS seems to grade all Mint State coins the same way PCGS grades CCs (allows too many marks).
ANACS simply does not see Very Good through XF circulated grades the same way PCGS does. (Every Morgan graded XF40 or less by ANACS has come back lower from PCGS when cracked out and sumbitted raw.)
ANACS tends to grade Mint State Morgans with very few marks and weak lustre, 1-2 points higher than PCGS.
I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

Julian, I absolutely agree.
Thanks all for the responses. Rick II
I'd say it goes like this and I've been collecting Morgans for a loooong time:
Disregarding the low & highend borderliners PCGS & NGC have been about the same. I've always agreed with the grades which are in line with the ANA Standards.
ANACS is about on the same par numerically with MS grades but are looser with the DMPL designation; i.e. lots of ANACS DMPLs = PCGS PL. ANACS is looser on the circ grades also. I hate seeing a FINE that doesn't have 2 lines in the cotton ball.
As far as toned coins go all 3 companies are crazy as hell.
NGC seems to give higher grades to toned Morgans than PCGS does. Collectors say NGC "likes" toned coins and PCGS likes blast white coins. Since toned coins have become popular PCGS does seem to "like" them a little more but still not as much as NGC does.
They seem to be a pricing service nowdays rather than an actual grading service and I think that really sucks.
