Pillar Dollar pricing

Where can I find some pricing information for Pillar Dollars?? Perhaps someone can give a link or else a price for a particular date. It's a 1740 in an ANACS holder graded VF30 and noted as "Shipwreck Salvage" but without a ships name. Thanks.

My suggestion would be to check recent auction results, though they may be hard to track down for a particular date.

I buy all the uncs. I see (it aint many) and pay between $1000 - $2000 usually as type coins, but I have no experience with the VF stuff.

Because of the shipwreck salvage notation the coin probably has some corrosion present. This reduces the value. Normally the coin in VF would be worth approx. $200. But because ANACS net grades the corrosion may already be taken into account. Is the condition in your opinion VF - or does look to be better than that ? You know coins - the same rules apply for these.

You may be able to get $200 on ebay - but it won't be from a knowledgeable Pillar collector. That particular year is not that uncommon.
