8,000,000 PCGS coins graded

It seems like a lot, but with the US Population over 275,000,000 it means there are not enough to go around.

8,000,000 PCGS Slabs

It's a nice coin too. I'm glad it's not another PR69DCAM Statehood quarter.

OK - quiz time - when was the last time the US mint issued a circulating coin with a mintage of 8 million or less?

    Not in my lifetime.

    whaddya mean "seems" like a lot? i'd say 8,000,000 x $20 = 160,000,000 is a HE11UVA lot, & that's not even the biggest service!!!

so the estimate might reasonably be $400,000,000.

divide that up amongst perhaps ONE MILLION coin-collectors, & i'll gladly give up my share of the plastic for my $400 & your $400.

If we ignore the West Point, Denver, and San Francisco issues that were struck without mintmarks for circulation then the last <8 million circulation issue seems to be the 1960 half dollar. (unless the kennedy half in the past couple years dropped that low.)
