The morgan is one I recently purchased from K6AZ, (Thanks, Eric

) the other, I purchased years ago and put it back and forgot about it. After obtaining a Stereoscopic Microscope (Thanks to Gilbert) I looked at the old nickel and found encrusted around the stars and within the devices what appears to be gold dust .

Wonder what stories it could tell?........

That nickel is cool if it is gold dust. Some poor sob probably got paid 5 cents for his 5 dollar horse....

Coinlieutenant's proof Seated quarter is very, very impressive. (As are many of the beauties y'all posted).

CL, you should tap the slab a bit and straighten the coin out in it. With a little patience, you should be able to bring it upright in the holder again.
