Yeah! My coins have been graded!

My first invoice (of three) was received by PCGS on 3-17. I checked this morning and the grading is done. I submitted two Liberty Nickels for designation review and one made CAM. It was borderline DCAM, but I'll take the CAM. The other was borderline CAM. I guess not close enough. image

I sent the other two invoices about two weeks later. I hope this is a sign! Maybe the other one will be finished by the end of the month. image

Great going. Liberty nickels are truly beautiful coins. You don't see many in CAM or DCAM. I still wish I had picked up the 1885 in 65DCAM that I passed on.

David O'Brien sent me a list of 5 he will be listing soon if you really want a Cameo Liberty Nickel. He recently upgraded numerous examples in this series.

    Glenn and Mark,

I'm really not unhappy with the results I got. I would have liked better, of course. Plus, I'm please with the timely turnaround.

Also, I appreciate your willingness to take "deadwood" off my hands. imageimage

  • Dieman,

Is there an 1885 in 65DCAM. I got the one in 64DCAM and thought this was the only DCAM from PCGS so far.

So now we know where the 1885 DCAM went. ( I am sure that there is still only one 1885 in DCAM, the 64 you have)

The pop reports says only one 1885 DCAM Lib. Nick has been graded, and that's in 64.
