Rainbow Toned 1921 Morgans

Since Russ put up his 21 Morgan, I'd figure I'd give a couple of mine a try.

What do you think? These are hard to find with nice color.

Strat's coins are actually what got me interested in toned Morgans enough to purchase these 2. I got a third, but it isn't as nice as these. For some reason, I'm drawn to coins that are hard to find toned, 1921 Morgans, Peace $ and Walkers.

I'm still looking for a 1921-S that's toned, he needs it to complete his trifecta. And I could actually get back some of the money I've paid in him for toning premiums on Peace $

BTW, I like the top coin Frattlaw. Strats 1921 if I remember was a vibrant kind of gold. Very eye appealing.

Well, it's flattering to be known by one's coins, thanks guys! Here is a pic of my 21P, it's from a scanner, and I couldn't bring out the brightness the obverse actually has, but at least everyone can get some idea of what the coin looks like. It has been posted once before, just after I originally purchased it. It's probably the second or third favorite toned coin in my possession, after my 35P quarter (Braddick and Flash have seen it) and 58D quarter. Toned 21P Morgan

Hi Strat, another case where the scan doesn't do the coin justice. So since I've seen and held this coin, and from the scan nobody will want it maybe we can talk huh?

Edit to add.... oops do I see a print in left field? Scans bring these out you know.

Don't think so, Stman, but I'll check it just the same. Perhaps it could be fingerprints on the slab, a lot of people have fondled it, ya know .

Strat- I almost owned it! -If I wasn't already committed to that show on other purchases. It looks better (obverse) than your scan. The colors, especially the yellow) is much more vibrant in person.
Neat 21. I haven't seen its equal yet.

I remember! Infact, I'll never forget that show. At the time, there weren't any toning afficionados attending, and I just couldn't believe one guy would pick out my top three toned beauties. Didn't know it was you until I asked if you had any circulated slabbed Ikes. My 35P hasn't been out of the bank since.

That top one is cute with it's little rainbow at the bottom.
It's easy to find 21s toned but like everybody else said finding a decent looking one is tough. Here's mine, I'm not sure if it is pretty or pretty ugly but it is different: 1921
