A question for the VAM collectors

This is an 1883-O, with the O tilted far right. On the obverse, does that look like a high second 8 to you? I would be interested in comments, thanks.

Edited because I think my eyes are playing tricks on me and I have spent too many hours looking through the loupe today!

  • Well I'll be darned....I've got one of those, and although I noticed the tilted mark, I never looked into the VAM. Now I know.

At first I thought this was VAM 11 which has a slightly tilted O, but this is tilted far right of VAM11. Then again, I am a novice at VAMs, so I am hoping one of the more experienced VAM people can take a look and let me know what they think.
