Are there any original silver dollar bag hoards still out there?

I know of a small one, in my hometown of Jacksonville, FL, there is a very large company with about fifteen bags of only common dates. Mostly avg. quality uncirculated. During the boom in 1980 they were offered $40k per bag. They declined......something about silver going to over $100 an ounce. Their cost was face value, purchased mostly during the release of silver dollars by the Treasury in the 60's.(1963?) $1000 to $40000 in less than 20 years. Greed, Greed, Greed. What's that saying about pigs?.............
Collecting since 1976.

I'm not sure exactly what your point is with your last sentence, but yes, occasionally original bags hit the market. I have bought two recently, one 83-O and one 84-O. The vast majority of these coins grade 63. I am currently offering five of the 84-O coins on my website raw linked below. Better dates have not been found in quantity since the release of the Redfield hoard.
