If that's a NGC surely it's the lighting.

I can't tell from a picture, but I'd say that I can either way based solely on the image.

I ran across this auction the other night. One thing that always amazes me about this seller and others like him who handle high end coins is that they put up such poor pictures. I believe I saw this coin in Charlotte, and it is a very nice coin. You know he has to be making money, so why scrimp with the images?

Those breast feathers and luster are a sure turn off. I would keep a VF coin too.
