Quality like this rarely turns up on eBay. I won't own it, but it sure is a pleasure to look at!

I looked at that coin (several times) at the last Long Beach show and there is no way an image could ever do that coin justice. That coin is incredible!image

    Thanks guys. image

It was a privilege to be selected to assist Rick Kay in marketing the copper Schoolgirl pattern dollar. Maybe all those pattern nickels I bought from him for my personal collection helped my status image

It is a beautiful coin, which is expected to be on display at the June, Long Beach if still available.

I'll take two of 'em!image Seriously, a very, very cool coin and a piece of history. Patterns are so neat!

What's kind of neat is this pattern coin is on track to have nearly 1,000 "hits" on ebay in the first 24 hours of the auction!! It just goes to show the interest in neat pattern coins out there. image Wondercoin

  • don't get me wrong. I certainly wouldn't turn that coin down. Its rareness appeals to me more then how "pretty" it is.

Definately a very beautiful piece, it's amazing that a coin of that size stayed FULL RED after all those years. That coin looks like it could be the centerpiece of even a world class pattern collection.
