I just noticed that an entire 1968 Topps Baseball PSA 8 set showed up on the Registry. I guess it's safe to assume that this is the winner of the Superior '68 Topps PSA 8 set.

Nice Gift for Little Sammy

Another interesting observation is that it's a very nice gift for a very young grandson. Wow!

    I'm jealous -- those kids have a bright future ahead of them -- this is only one of many sets earmarked for the heirs!

    Fabulous effort -- even if it was simply a straight set purchase.
    I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    Thats a great gesture, but I just hope that 3 year old L'il Samuel will have Grandpa's passion and hold on to the set as a treasured family item, as opposed to selling it when he is of age. Wish someone would have stashed a '33 Goudey set or a '52 Topps Set aside for me when I was a kid...jay

    Sam must be grandpa's favorite. The other kids' sets are only partially completed.

    Don't follow the 68 set .... but for interest purposes only - what was the purchase price (including hammer) for the set?

    Who wants to place a bet that this set will go up on ebay on 9/6/2017? Im guessing he will list the set right after the birthday cake.... Mark your calendars now! (just kidding....a very gracious present)
