Does the Frankie market seem especially cold right now?

Do Franklin halves seem to be super cold and getting colder by the minute? There are quite a few avid collectors of Franklin halves who post quite regularly on these forums but prices have done nothing but drop for the past two years or so. Why are the Frankies so cold while other areas of the hobby are so hot, especially when it seems that the fan base for the series is still pretty high?

Maybe now is the time to buy?

    Perhaps some series of coins are "so hot", but mostly in the high value to very high value arena. I don't believe there is ANY series minted from 1948 to current that has improving prices. Do you?
