Re-upping?

I recently got my letter from PCGS informing me that my gold membership will soon expire. What is the feeling of the "pod"? Will the submission times improve? Will the grading become more consistant? I have been wavering between rejoining and going over to NGC. I really like both services for different coins. NGC really is beating PCGS's ears off on submission times for economy and for moderns.

I'm re-upping soon. The service has been good, the problem resolutions have all been fair, and the people with whom I interact at PCGS have been wonderful - bar-none.

PCGS has meant a great deal to my family, via my collection, my knowledge of coins, and my micro-business' profitability.

I joined back in November for two years and wish I only joined for one. The submission times don't bother me because I am a collector and not a dealer. If it takes longer, oh well, that's life.

I'm not renewing my gold CC membership. My last four submissions were all to NGC. Once they come back, I won't be submitting anywhere for a long while.

Im going to renew, just because I have 4 crossovers to send in. Maybe I'll go with NGC also.

I rejoined last summer for 2 years with PCGS, I also got in free with NGC because I belong to the ANA. No free submissions, but no fees either!

Guys, Thanks for all the inputs. I am an ANA member and can send to NCG and have, with great pleasure. I also enjoy all the fringies here. I just may join both clubs.

I decided not to re-up, mainly because I don't submit enough coins. I may re-up after accumulate enough stuff to make it worth while.
