TO SLAB OR NOT TO SLAB ( ROLLS )

HI all. i have been reading the great postings on this site for about 3 weeks and i finally got my password so i figured i would post a question to all of you. today i received a roll of mercury dimes that i won on ebay. i opened it up to find alot of 40's dimes in what look like MS quality with alot of them having full split bands.i was thinking of sending them out for grading and checked the prices on pcgs and ngc and annacs and saw they average around 15.00 per coin. so far i have 10 out of the roll that are fsb but my eyes were killing me so i had to stop looking at them for now. my question is do they give discounts on quantities of coins at these grading services or is it just better to just sell them raw in one lot. your help would be appreciated

My advice, unless you have some very high-end (grade-wise) pieces, or tough dates, is to just sell them raw. Grading costs will kill you. ANACS occasionally has a 10 coins for $10 each deal, but that's still a lot of bread for common date Merc in 65 or 66.
Just my opinion -

Lot's of options and of course, one option would be to not get the coins encapsulated but keep them in a raw state.. Be sure watch the humidity and the storage holder you have them in though....
