#1 Roosevelt set for sale

I have decided to sell my Roosevelt set in the ST. Louis auction May first thru may 3rd. I hope that board members will take advantage of this offering to fill some of the open slots in their collections. That way they will stay in the family. This was a tough decision but i have the chance at a great real estate purchase and also widen my collection of many different issues. I'm sure this is more information than you need to know but i guess i feel a little guilty like i'm bailng on the brotherhood. I do hope you will still let me eavesdrop on the boards as i enjoy the give and take and all the wonderful comments about your collections of the beautiful little coins that we all cherish.

You mean this is a thread pointing to an auction of ones coins, and this is not in the BST forum? I must be missing something here.

Steve, you don't have your 1975 PR70DC listed. What did you do with it?

  • DOUG,
I FOUND OUT WHEN I PREPARED THE COLLECTION FOR HERITAGE THAT THE 75=S HOLDER WAS MISLABLED AND HAD A 77-S YEAR IN THE SLAB. IT HAS BEEN SENT TO PCGS FOR CORRECTION. WHICH PROVES THAT YOU SHOULD EXAMINE ANY AND ALL COINS TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE WHAT YOU THINK YOU PAID FOR. I HAD THIS COIN FOR FOUR YEARS THINKING THAT I HAD THE ONLY 75-S. TALK ABOUT SHOCK AND AWE.
