Home PCGS Set Registry Forum

Good bye my friends

This time it is for real and I must sell, as much as that hurts to do. The slowing economy has finally caught up. In a town of only 15K and you already worked for the largest employeer in the city it doesn't leave a person much place else to go. I don't even think Wal-Mart is hiring Here. Maybe I'll get lucky in the next 90 days and find something that pays halfway what I was making. My set is for sale on the BST Forum.

Very Sorry to hear this also. Looks like the Job situation is sort of Topsy / Turvy in a lot of places. Another 2000 or so jobs were lost by folks out here in the Eugene, OR area because of cut backs.

Good Luck in finding some decent employment.

  • I am sure, there is something going to come up better than you think, in the near furture... goodluck!

Sorry to hear of your leaving and your reason. Though you are one of the Merc crowd that posts even less than me, I remember how proud you were of your FB set. It was not too long ago that you were so overjoyed with obtaining a '39-S FB only to be topped by the birth of your son.
Glad you were able to sell a good number of them here, and keep them "in the familly".
Best of luck in your job search.
If you're ever able to get back in, I'm sure the group would be glad to help get you started again.

Again, Best of Luck to you and your's,

    Merc1,

I hope your departure from the Registry is only temporary, and that you'll continue to participate in the Forum.

I echo the wishes of everyone else here for you to land a job soon.
