I have seen a lof of their auctions online, but all of their coins look "strange" in their pictures. They all seem either not to have the right color, or look cleaned? Maybe just bad pictures??? Also, below is one of their coins. Does it look cleaned to you? Also, what about the grade? They claim it is a VF+.

  • Hard to tell regarding the cleaning, but with regard to the grade, its definately not XF. For an Indian to be a true XF, the band crossing the lower hair curl must be fully seperated. Clearly not the case with this coin.

most folks grade by "liberty", but a better determination between vg & fine is the dentilation. this coin is vg-10. at this grade, realy, don't worry about being cleaned.

I deal with them and can say that they are straight up guys. The way they do business is they would rather sell higher volumes of coins at lower prices than the other way around. I have only bought graded coins from them in the past. I did buy a Mercury dime from them and was not happy because of a die crack and they refunded ALL my money plus shipping back to them, no questions asked!

A while back, I bought from them, and they were easy to negotiate with and straight shooters.

I've only bought a couple of franklins from them, one on ebay, and one at a show. Both were smooth transactions. Seem to be Straight shooters.

bought 2 raw commems from them. one was a 1920 pilgrim advertised as ms-64 or better and graded ms-63 by pcgs, the other was a 1936 robinson advertised as ms-64 and graded ms-63 by pcgs. all and all, i recommend them

I've dealt with him both on Ebay and at the Baltimore Show. Great guy to deal with. I'd say, that is just a bad picture, as I have problems getting the details to come out on Indians with full LIBERTY and diamonds. Take a chance, if you don't like it send it back.

    KS,

If you are selling, I'll take all the Indians you've got that look like this picture for VG money. image
The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

To me that coin looks messed with at one time, and it's a F-15 if that pic is accurate.
  • I've seen their stuff at local shows. The certified material is usually very nice, but I can say that the pictures they take stink for ALL their coins.

I bought a 1915 Barber half from them which, for me, is an expensive piece. They were great to deal with. I have since seen many, many auctions where their raw coins seem highly overgraded. When I'm surfing Ebay and click on a link, I often don't even scroll down to see the coin when I see that it is one of their auctions.

I've purchased from them twice. On both occasions the coins were graded coins and the transactions went very well. Very polite. The coins were very nice for the grade. Good luck! image
