I like my coins white - no, I like mine toned - no white - aaaaaaargh!

I showed this coin last week and decided to try to take a better picture of it - let me know what you think. Whether you like'em toned or white, there's a little bit of everything for everyone! image

Beautiful coin with a nice contrast of toning and bright luster.

When you dip it, be sure to pat it dry so it won't spot.

    Toned coins are ok.

This one is just too dark for me.
The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

I`m still into white coins. With the toned coins that I`ve seen/noticed since I`ve been here, toned coins can make a good coin even better in terms of eye appeal. I largely ignored toned coins when I came back to this hobby. Now, with the toners I`ve seen here, it has made me notice them. Some may say that the ebb and flow of collecting tones or whites are fads. That`s true for boring coins but exciting coins are exciting coins and will always be in demand in the hobby, whether toned or not.

Very nice Frank, and looks like it might be proof-like. I see what looks like a little bit of chatter in front of Ms Liberty, but the cheek looks smooth. What'll it take to get it off your hands? image
