Want to know about DapCards

Anyone know who DapCards is, and does he frequent the boards? Currently in heated bidding war with him on E Bay for cards in one my registered sets.

    Rob,

Pretty nice guy from what I can tell. He's bought alot of football from me. As for
being on the board. I dont think so.

Never seen him on the boards, but he's a major player on the registry. He is a heavy competitor for the sets I am collecting (Hall of Fame and All-Time Greats Football), and he seems to have unlimited funds, so best of luck on your bidding...

I find myself bidding against him all the time. I don't know if his registry rankings are a major concern or if he's just showing off his card. I tend to think the latter, because in many sets he has the tough expensive cards but not the easy cheap ones that would vault his ranking. I'd like to see him on the boards here too.

Just sent Daniel an e-mail inviting him to come join us.

  • He is a very nice collector, and he can be determined. He is trying to build many sets at once, so his interests are wide spread.
Yes, if you are listening, we'd all like to see you on the boards.

Well guys. Dapcards was never a factor. Some guy with the E Bay ID JFEnterprises ran me up something firece. I paid on average about 8.00 more p/card than I wanted to. I bought about 55 1976 Topps FB in PSA 9 for an average of about 17.50 a card, and 3 PSA 10s for 42.00 apiece. Dropped about a G tonight. Thats the most I ever spent on E Bay at one time ever. I guess I am committed to building the set now. Anyone have a deal on 76 Walter Payton PSA8/9 ?

  • Looks like JF had the same idea you did - I was going to snag some of the 78s but he took most of those too.
Congrats on the 76 purchase, way to go! Plenty of Payton RCs out there, one will come up anytime now.
