Are toned MS Walkers hard to come by? (Pic Added)

I picked up a nice MS63 45-S toned Walker Half today and I was wondering if these are hard coins to come by with nice toning? This coin is completely golden colored with blues, greens and russet rim toning on both sides. Don't know what to think of it but I like it and picked it up.

My photography ain't that good, the coin is nicer in person the colors are deeper and the coin surfaces have more luster.

Thanks
Michael

Golden toned Walkers aren't hard to find. Those with irridescent colors; well, they're out there, but scarce.

Here's one I found recently. Yes I think they're hard to find with attractive toning. This one's got like weird pearlescent blue toning around the rim.

A beautiful toned WLH, is tougher to find then a hens tooth.

Consider yourself a very luckey person to have one.

Walkers with attractive color can be tough to come by, similar to your Peace dollars. image

They're easy to find. Just do a search for tonecoin2003's or aswimmer's auctions.image

Not exactly posting to answer your question but, here`s a registry set thats amazing. A Walker short set thats all toned and all quite gorgous. I don`t own it but, I wish I did!!! It`s a good benchmark for a toned short set and I think you`ll agree it`s worth a look.

I've seen that set in person and it is dramatic. Absolutely beautiful. I won't say who it belongs to but ToningintheBlood posts quite frequently here.

    Thanks for linking that CCR

What, no one has an opinion as to the pic I posted!

He sure seems to sell a lot of them, so either somebody thinks they're real, or there's a big market for baked crap.

Toningin the blood, linked above, has a phenomenal set. The nice toned ones are hard to find. Blast whites are easier. Plenty of average toned pieces exist but not nice ones. Here is my best.

image Yes they are tough to find with nice color. Frattlaw, you saw this one in person. Tough to capture the iridescence with a scanner.

These coins are indeed hard to find with nice color. I looked high and low before I found this one.

wow a great coin thread we need more like these

walkers in gem and higher mintstate that have an original thick skin in other words non dipped that display great lustre through the toning AND EXCEPTIONAL eye appeal with the toning being rainbow and the key to the short set the
    1941-s

would be the ultimate coin to own

the highest degree and magnitude of rarity

the scan barely does justice to this coin and needs to be sight seen
also if you can find a better rainbow superb gem toned 1941-s walker then this coin

BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE THEN YOU GOTS THE FINEST KNOWN BAR NONE!

dipped blast white IS not,NOT!! NICE

    sincerely michael

Wow! These are some really beautiful coins everyone has posted. Great, now I'm hooked on WLHs. Well, I was going to sell mine, but with all this info I guess a toned short set is in my future. I'll going to keep her and be on the look-out for more toned WLHs.

Great, now I've got 2 sets to complete of the hardest coins to find with toning. Peace $ and WLHs image

Thanks for everyone sharing and waking me up to these tremendous coins.

    Michael
