Submission/Cherrypicking Results

Submission 3014430 (zip 43147)
They have been a long time coming, but generally very pleased with the results with only one violent disgreement. Either I am getting better at grading or PCGS is!
A lot of cherrypicks here, who says you always have to spend a ton? My pre-shipment grades/comments in paranthesis.
Jefferson Five Cents
1938 PR-65 (65 ... cracked out of badly under graded NGC PF-62 holder and given a little TLC, cost $17 after $25 TT rebate)
1939 PR-66 (65 ... purchased raw for less than $40; thought one carbon spot on obverse would hold it to a 65)
1941 PR-66 (66 ... another $40 coin, nice blue/gold tone)
1942 Ty. 1 PR-66 (66 ... cracked out of NTC PR-66 holder, cost $39)

1951 PR-67 (67 ... part of same set; light cameo)

1953 PR-67 (67 ... part of same set, a gorgeous, high-end coin)
1960 PR-68 DCAM (68 DCAM ... a 35/3 coin -- $360 at recent auction -- cracked out of a pre-CAM designation PR-67 green slab, cost $10)

1963 BB (68 DCAM ... bagged for scratch/rim dent ... I never saw it. Another old $10 green slab)
1964 PR-67 DCAM (68 DCAM ... drats, another pre-designation green slab for $10)
Roosevelt Dimes
1950 PR-66 (66 ... all of these are part of raw $115 1950-1976 set in Capital holder)
1951 PR-66 (67 ... OK)
1952 PR-66 (68 ... most confounding result of the submission, amazing mirrors and luster and very clean)
1953 PR-67 (67 ... very nice coin)
1954 PR-65 (67 ... need to work on my Roosie grading skills)
1955 PR-67 (67 ... very nice)
Washington Quarter
1962 PR-68 DCAM (68 DCAM ... beautiful contrast, a doubled die obverse I have not attributed yet, cost $7)
Kennedy Half Dollars
1964 AH PR-66 (PR-66 ... one tiny speck on the cheek from a 67)
1967 SMS MS-66 CAM (MS-67 CAM ... drats, thought I had a 67, very clean, cost $8)

I know you have looked at loads of proof Jefferson nickels. Your grading for them was more accurate than for the other denominations. If people really know their series and also know what PCGS expects they seem to get grades close to what they expect.
Fantastic cherrypicking! I remember some of those older non-cameo designated holders. You snagged them from Tom Becker at the same time I was snagging some JFKs of the same era.

You should also target Buffalo nickel die polishing errors like
the 1916, 1921 two feather obverses and the 1917D,26D,27D 3-1/2 legged buffs
Look in the Cherrypickers guide.

Winged, thanks, I like to pick the Buffs, too, particularly RPMs and DDs per the Wexler/Flynn book ... (highly recommended)
