    The lighting you use Marty is perfect.Just a natural bright white light.This really helps show the real color of the coin
    I think.

    Barracuda-Have you tryed shooting against a white or somewhat offwhite background?
    It seems to work for Marty very well. Your a very close second. image

    that's actually dark green. i've tried many different colors and decided green was the best - maybe i'll have to try white again. what i don't understand is how they take a perfect 90 degree shot and still get all the color. course, i am using an old cheapie camera.

    Try using a florescent desk lamp for your light source! Really brings out the glowing color!
