I'm the dumb one Jim -- I didn't know it was the accented hair variety so you scored one on me (sorta like the NGC MS63 1892-CC $1 you bought from me that I recently upgraded to PCGS MS64 for you)! What a nice guy I am...
Bear,
The toning on Lablover's Kennedy half dollar is stone original. It was part of a collection of proofs I purchased that were stored in 2X2 Kraft envelopes for thirty years. I submitted dozens of cool toned proofs to PCGS and subsequently offered them on eBay where they realized very strong prices.
Man I should start hordin those damn AH Kennedys.I didnt know there were still so many that cant spot those sucks a mile away like I can ,and I know Russ and a few others can. Wow. lol
Mike: Does this mean you'll be sending another invoice? You knew what you were doing...just being nice to a dummy. This is why I like doing business with you. Blessings, Jim

If you really must know, it was a dip that when real wrong. I dipped the coin and was shaking it, before dipping it in acetone. When I was shaking it, it flew out of my hand and landed behind the washer. I didn't think it was worth digging out. Well that was 6 months ago, had to move the washer and there was this FUGLY Kennedy! Just wanted to share!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

It is? I had no idea. Can you have Accented Hair on a Proof? Thought these were given on uncirculated.

I believe it to be real. Purchased the coin from Coingame 2000, don't think Mike would let an AT coin be sold much less purchase it himself.
