<< <i>There's another seller with the handle E.MIX that has been doing this constantly for ages; start low and if it doesn't get bid to where he wants it, cancel in the last few moments. eBay refuses to do anything about it, even though they made the practice a violation when they added the reserve fees.

can we set up some sort of cage match or maybe you guys can don the Sumo Suits possibly in Baltimore at the ANA show this summer? Now THAT would be a fantastic way to settle your differences!!
I also feel that ending auctions in that fashion is just plain wrong or at the Very least appears to be so.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the 3 pages of auctions he has going off in the next 24 hours. I'm going to bid on a couple of tokens to see what happens.

Well, truer words were never spoken. I'm afraid the Reeded Edge just blew their customer base to smithereens. It's a basic eBay rule -- and principle -- that you have the item available to sell when you offer it. These items weren't "legitimately pre-sold" if they were sold in the manner he says they were. You aren't supposed be conducting multi-venue sales of the same item or to fish for "on-the-side" offers. That's false advertising for one thing. It's no wonder eBay instituted their new rules -- it was to eliminate, or at least "tax," folks abusing the system like this, as well as those who continually post auctions with outrageous reserves, and depriving them of revenue.

Come on over ... to The Dark Side!
How about this: bid over full retail on one of his coins, then retract your bid with only 5 seconds to go. That would be too funny.
Funny the same rule doesn't apply to sellers!!!!!
