Washington Quarter guys: Does this one Look Like a Winner?

It's tough to tell by the scan- I think the colors would have shown up better in a photo- but this one looks like it has potential to be a real monster.
I know I probably overpaid just a tad, but the Seller's auction description sold me.
I don't collect Washington quarters by series, just singles, but what do you think?
(I'll also post photos when the coin arrives):

As you know I came in 2nd place in this auction. Personally I too think it has great potential and can't wait to find out just how nice it is. Please post pictures as soon as you receive it. If it's as nice as you and I think perhaps a deal can be struck between us. Let me know if it's nicer than my current 54p below.

The man knows his Washingtons and has the color set to back it up.
Thanks again guys.
-I'll post photos the day of arrival.

If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!

Interesting acquisition. Three thoughts come to mind:
1. is there a Mr. X that made this
2. was it in a bank promotion
3. did it have anything to do with Utah
Enjoy it.

I love Ike dollars and all other dollar series !!!
I also love Major Circulation Strike Type Sets, clad Washingtons ('65 to '98) and key date coins !!!!!
If ignorance is bliss, shouldn't we have more happy people ??
Maybe $75 with the color.

Rick- My (second) max bid was about $15.00 over what I ended up paying, so it was close. It's funny too because as it inched up closer to my first max bid I placed a second max bid later in the day "just in case". Had I not done so I would have lost the coin.

I had a '49-P that looks similar, also. I traded it for another coin from a fellow member. I had paid a pretty high premium for it originally, and our fellow member offered me the same. Though I hated to part with it, he had a coin that I needed, and I had a coin that he coveted.
If your's looks like I think it will, you got yourself a beauty!
That might make three that you can possibly get to see side by side by side!

But, at that expense, and at your suggestion, I'll do so. It'll be a couple of days though as we are setting up a new, second computer upstairs tomorrow, first.
