I sent in 6 items. They were received by PCGS on 3/04/03. I got an email on 4/4/03 with my grades. Very coincidentally exactly 30 days as they mentioned recently.

What are the variables involved? Dealer status? Type of coins? # of coins submitted? How many times you've flamed PCGS? image

    Bob,

What type of submission was it? Modern ($10). Economy ($15)? Regular ($30)?

    Russ,

That's a good question. No, I'm not a complete idiot (but I am working on it), but I've seen the categories you just mentioned and assumed they were for dealers.

When I print off their submission forms, under the Silver level membership, it only shows 2 service levels:
    1) pre-1965 @ $30 each, and 2) post1965 @ $12 each.

I have gotten them back in as little as 2 weeks, but it was usually 3 weeks or so before the recent backlog. Here's what I submit under:

    SILVER MEMBERSHIP
    • Unlimited Direct Submission Privileges to the Special PCGS On-line $30/30-Day (1965 and earlier coins) and $12/30-Day (Post-1965 coins) Grading Services

Nice submission and good for you ... but, yet another example of an economy submission arriving after others, yet being graded sooner. Still waiting for grades on a Jan. 31 submission. image

Looks as if you did pretty good.

    Bob,

The submission levels I mentioned aren't just for dealers, they're also for Gold and Platinum club members, which any of us lowly collector types can join.image
