Indian Head Pennies, Can They Be Cleaned?

I have about 25-50 indian head pennies that were given to me by my grandparents about 10 years ago. Most of them are brownish-green, some are in good condition and some are very worn. Is there any way to clean them? Also, if anyone is interested, I'd trade or sell. Also, I have many buffalo nickels, but the dates are gone because of wear. Are these worthless, would anyone be interested in these? Any info or help would be great.

Generally coin collectors hate to clean or even see a cleaned coin. Better off not cleaning them. One technique is to soak the coins in olive oil for a week or longer and some to the gunk will come off.
