Is it just me or do I sense a strange uneasy calm out there in Merc land?
I expected to see many posts on the 20-D that Coconut succesfully planned to snipe image and actually got for $650. Ok, so what I have one too, but damn I really like that one .............alot!!image

........oh well, I posted a 35-S 66FB I just added to my set. Totally clean, practically blemish free, clean cheek, untoned white gem that I wanted to share here to stimulate the merc-antile feelings in some of usimage

    Marc,

The '35-S is another date that I need, and your coin has a good strike and great luster. The only other one I've seen over the past couple of months that I really liked was the one that Ken sold from his set. I wasn't fast enough on that one, so I didn't want to let the '20-D get away.

Congratulations on a superior looking '35-S.

  • Nice one for sure....white, just like I like them! There is just not a lot of new product out there, that I am aware of, to pick from.
I did manage to see a 1916D 64fb yesterday at the McKinney show I was a part of. It belongs to Ed Hipps, and it was a real dark toned, but quite pretty in its own rights He was asking 15K for it. I checked it real close, and it was for sure a high end 64 with full round bands. It was a very succesful show.

I was thinking the same thing, I have not seen one this nice, I recall even the Jay Eisenberg example was only a 65FB, btw there was 67FB in the same sale but my information I had was something with that piece I did not like...besides being expensive....so I am indeed very excited about this little GEM.

Dennis sounds like I'd love that 16-D so can you pick it up for me and I'll fedex you some monopoly moneyimage

Thanks to all for the pleasant congratsand enthusiasm...............
