Now I have seen it all. The 1944D Merc is one of the most common dates in the series. Its also common
in very high grades. Its the second most common after the 43D. The seller claims its a key date.

True its only $50, but novice collectors should not be hyped up in a bidding frenzy over a common date. If that coin goes to $300., thats a ripoff. I guess, buyer beware, but why not educate.
