1868 LARGE CENT STRUCK IN NICKEL PCGS-PR64

JUDD-610. This is the so-called "1868 large cent" struck in nickel and it grades PCGS-PR64. These were deliberately made by the US Mint for sale to collectors and only about 4 or 5 are known to exist in nickel (although Pollack shows this coin as R-8 in his pattern book). The mint also struck about a dozen or so known in copper (J-611). A numismatic treasure for the serious Large Cent collector, or general Cent collector.

I believe you can view a scan of a J-610 on the uspatterns.com site.

PM me if you are seriously interested in this coin, which is available for immediate sale.
